2011 TTS - strange noise???

My 2011 TTS is not my DD. I get it out once or twice a week. Today, I opened the garage door and noticed that the car is emmitting a "digital sounding beep noise" every 30 seconds. It's not loud like an alarm.

It's driving me crazy. Took it out for a spin. It does not make the noise when I drive it. The car drives fine, no error messages, plenty of gas, etc. I lock the car the lights blink, the doors are locked and the beep starts all over again. I tried the spare key - same thing. The hood, gas cap and trunk are closed.

Anyone experience this? PS. Nothing mentions this in the owners manual.

Do you have the lithium ion Battery or the Standard Porsche battery? I have heard that the Lithium Ion battery has a warning beep for low charge or when the temperature is too low to operate in.

How cold is it where you are now? Is the battery fully charged.

I have no idea which battery is installed. It's a 2011 with less than 3000 miles on it. The weather here in Houston is not too cold. It has been in the high 50's/low 60's this past week. Plus the car is parked in an insulated garage.

Taking it into the dealer this morning.

Update on Noise

Ok. So I took the car in to address the following:
  1. Strange beeping noise
  2. rattle in front dash
  3. burned our rear break bulb
  4. cloudy window on steering wheel whe Sport and Sport plus light up.
The good news is that the beeping noise is NOT the car! Actually, when I retuned home with the rental, I continued to hear the beep. It's my damn sprinkler system box telling me to change the 9 volt battery. Boy, do I feel like a dumb***! I guess that I can chalk it up to being an "over protective parent????

They fixed the rattle in the front dash! They are replacing the back light fixture and they ordered me a new steering wheel to clear up the cloudy window.

Sorry for bothering everyone and sounding an alarm.

Brett
