Anyone with Tiptronic program ?

Sharkwerks sells the Evomsit Tiptronic software -- Gear changes should be quicker

Has anyone tried this ? Worth ir or not ?

I know this cannot compare to PDK, but are the gear changes much faster now ?

While you can't change efficiency of the transmission, I believe a few folks have stated their shift times are approaching PDK speeds.

Do The TCU its a great mod for better shifts and increased rev limiter, If you are thinking of modding turbos etc have in mind that you'll need to reinforce your trany

Evoms can tune your tranny through the TCU, they upgraded mine to adjust to my EVT700 kit, raised RPM to 7k, quicker upshifts/downshifts. After about 750 HP the Tiptronic tranny will start slipping; Switzer does make a kit that requires to drop the tranny and install monster parts to handle all that torque and HP. It is quite costly, but an awesome mod..

Protomotive did my TCU. And MKB the transmition reinforcement. If you're in the US Switzer will better suit your needs

If 60-130 mph= +6.5 sec, TCU upgrade is enough for you.

Below 6.5 sec you also need upgraded tranny.

Switzer kit is easily holding +850 hp.

If only put chip + exhaust to reach 550HP or so, TCU is worth it or not ?

Would you recomment Evomsit or Switzer ? Or are they very simmilar ?
