Exhaust options for 997.2 TT PDK ???
#4
Thanks for starting this thread. I would like very much to get an exhaust for my 997.2 TT....and quite frankly don't care about horsepower gains or otherwise....but I just want a SLIGHTLY louder beautiful sport tone with NO CABIN droan. I had a RUF exhaust which was fabulous on my 996, an Overfinch exhaust on my Range Rover - perfect, Caractare on my Avant again #1....but the Stebro on my M3 was a disaster...almost made my ears bleed the pitch and whine at 120 km. To their credit, they tried to make it right and I laud them for it but could never make it sound correct on that block anyway - money back no problem so well done Stebro on that front.
I am too old for the loud stuff now...want it to sound like the OEM option "Motor Sound Package" on my 1997 C4S which was brilliant....so any ideas out there are appreciated given our 997.2 tone which is well....anemic.

I have now hear several systems on our cars and am convinced beyond any doubt I made the right choice.

Here's a quick video of the Tubi race version for the 997.2. There is also a street version with 200 cel cats available and in stock.

EP for your needs, anything else will be too loud. The FVD and AWE crossflow are my other favorites, but probably too loud based on your criteria.
The above mentioned cat back systems, that keep the stock cats are a very attractive alternative as well.
