Dont try to calculate the move, if you are passionate about the car, you'll jump right into one and never look back. Who cares about a little depreciation, you aint getting any younger.

There was recently a local event by largest Toronto Audi dealer. They were clearing out 2010 R8s (had 5), between $18000 and $26000 discount -depending if it were 8 or 10 cylinder.

I have 996 Turbo, currently bone stock (though I had ECU upgrade, don't use it anymore), so I tried R8 V8.

I find this car beautiful, and it was nice to drive, but completely underwhelming compared to Turbo. Felt a lot like bigger/nicer ex-Miata of mine... Just my 2c
