They look like 997.2 turbo tips, turned upside down....
Overall I like it, but it looks to me like that particular car is put together with LOTS of leftover parts from the parts bin, and plenty of masking going on. (rear quarters are masked, front bumper is heavily masked, tail lights are 997.1TT...etc).
Most likely they threw it together with whatever parts they had so that they could go out and do some kind of durability or quality testing. I have a feeling the final car is going to look MUCH different.
