Clearing a DTC only temporarily erases the code..not the problem.
Emissions test will FAIL even with out a CEL indication.

The Europipe differs in construction from other catalyst manufacturers by equalizing the surface diameter (physical surface increase) which is bigger than the stock 600 cell catalyst converter-to the proportionate reduction (greater exhaust flow) of cell cpsi.

I put these on and my CEL problems were gone with my aftermarket exhaust (997.1 tt with speedtech exhaust). Took me about 20 minutes to add this to the O2 bung port. All you need is a floor jack and a wrench.

I think the 997.2 is a lot more sensitive, the bungs may not be enough if you have a CEL prone exhaust. You really get what you pay for, as far as exhausts go, on these cars I've learned.

These cel-fixers sound like a great idea for the 997.1, however, it is my understanding that a couple of the 02 sensors cannot be reached without removing the back bumper. Is that not correct??

if you have the correct tool, there is no need to remove the bumper. Harbor Freight has an O2 sensor socket that allows you to R&R the sensor without removing the bumper, intercooler, and heat shield.

Interesting tool you found Gene!
Ditto in the Acutron scanner, picked mine up from Sears online less than $100.
