Honestly...I bet you could probably drive around for 1000's of miles and not have any problems. But then the next guy could toast his diff in 100 miles. It's a luck of the draw. We (as a general rule) tend to err on the side of caution...

One more question I was playing with some numbers and people that run 20's they run 325/25/20 without a problem, the rolling diameter still at 3.4%, does that mean that a problem might be in the future of everyone running 20's?

That's not true. On our 20's we run a 325/25 in the rear, and a 245/30 front tire....this is what you get, only 2.32% difference. You can also run a 305 rear tire (on a narrow body), and the differential is only about .85%.

Remember, the key is NOT the difference between your stock size and the aftermarket size...it's all about the relation of the front wheel overall diameter to the rear wheel overall diameter.

What about 235/30/20's on the front and I think 325/25/20's on the rear?

So would 3.19% be a big issue? The reason I ask is I am getting ready to pursche a car with after market rims.
