I talked with schrick engineer over one year ago and he confirmed top will be stronger with those.

mine a bit more aggressive with 11,3 lift so I'm using harder valve springs.

any one with data of stock cams?

You should maybe ask FVD.

I am sure they can advise you of this!

I wanted to bump this up and see if any of the guys previously intersted have found any solutions, used any options available. Would be nice to gather some more info here on whats available and what is not available. We are probably the only forum that doesnt have a before/after dyno for ANY cams.

Here is an intersting fact most people dont know about. In 997TT the low lift is actually 3.6mm which is 0.6 higher than the 996TT. This helps getting the turbos and going in the early RPMs.

My car will be back tomorrow from my techs, the changes are the cams, the injectors (from 1000cc to 1680cc) and the gearbox serviced (bearings, synchros...)
I had the P0021 code and decided to swap to pinned Protomotive cams.
I didn't dyno the car before but I had the times @100-200/300 vs boost and I truly know well my car, I hope to feel the improvement!

Here is some cam info AMS posted:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-vs-996tt.html

Figure it is good info for those looking for more info on stock Porsche cams. I would love to see some cam dyno charts to see the difference.

The difference I feel before and after the Protomotive cams is: no loss at all at low/mid range and more power from 4500 to redline with a "exponential power" feeling.
I would say the car runs the same power @1,1Bar vs it was running @1,2Bar but with a better power curve.

Thoses cams are pretty close to the Dbilas and Schrick's, 11mm lifts, about 290° durations, my engine is a 3,8 with GT30s.
