Great composition and exposures. Did you use a star filter to get the lights show the distinct rays? Thank you for sharing your photos.

No, it just happened naturally through the lens with no filters at all.

Thanks! It's been something I have wanted to try for a while because you never see it.

I used a Canon 1Ds Mark III and a 580EX II for these shots.

Out of curiosity, was your belt squealing when you turned it on after the rain? I still haven't driven my car in the rain but after I wash it, the engine gets soaked and the belt squeals for a while until it dries off. Beautiful car though!

I drive mine in the rain all of the time here in Seattle and I've never noticed a squealing belt.
