CEL P1096 , Where should I start to check?

Hey guys,
I got a CEL p1096 yesterday, something has to do with the maf. Where would be a good start to check the for the problem?

do you have mods? i.e. intake, filter etc? Might want to list anything that is remotely related (potentially).

took the bumper off and checked all the hoses, everything seems fine. Also cleaned the maf sensor, hopefully it will be ok.

I did a little more research online, it maybe a 02 sensor problem instead of MAF.

"O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Switching From Lean to Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1)"
Can anyone verify for me please?

could be bad gas, clear it and see if it comes back on

I remember durametric was saying something like "air mass (HFM)ahead of throttle valve"
I mix 5 gallons of ms109 with 10 gallons of 94 in every tank of fuel. I was on the track all day , and CEL came on on my way home.
