"Essential" options for a 997tt?

Sport adaptive seats are a must, don't get the sport seats, they are very uncomfortable.
The difference between the two are that the Sport Adaptive seats are electrically adjustable with and very comfortable, whereas the sport seats are very uncomfortable. Don't get these confused with the Sport Bucket seats, which are lightweight seats designed for use with 5 or 6 point harnesses. I just saw that someone cleared this up with photos!

Ok Duffy thanks for the pics - one minor correction as someone has pointed out, the last pic is from a GT3/GT2, that's not a TT Sports Seat.
So bottom line: Look for those 2 little buttons that control the bolsters. That's unique to the Adaptive Sport Seat.

The last picture is, officially, called the sport bucket seat - Option P03. While the picture is from GT2/GT3, I'm almost positive it is the same as P03 in the TT. P01 Adaptive sport seat & P03 Sport Bucket Seat are the only optional seats available in the TT. There is no sport seat that looks like the adaptive seat but not adaptive. See page 5 of the attached order guide. In the past there was a no cost option - P78 that looked like the adaptive seats but not adaptive.

Plus only the Sport Adaptive seats have the memory function. The sport seats are manually adjusted for fore and aft movement.
The Bose premium sound is pretty good with the sub woofer, but it sounds pretty grating in the high mid range. Like someone else said, save the money and go with an aftermarket system. Older 911s had horrible sounding audio systems and the new ones are way better but still not that great

Seat in page 5 has a handle on the side to raise or lower the seat. This is the Sport Bucket Seat option for the Turbo as you mentioned.
The last picture of your post *is* the seat for GT2, not the Sport Bucket Seat Option of the Turbo. It has extremely deep bolster as typical of an all-out sport seat. That seat does NOT have a handle to raise or lower seat and has never been an option for the Turbo.

Duffy not that it matters for us but for the sake of accuracy: page 5 of that attached order guide is NOT the same seat as the last picture of your post.

So there IS more than 1 seat of this type.
