Wheel Damage
Had my car serviced at the dealer. They gave me a complementary car wash. Put the car in a automatic wash and the auto guide scratched both the left front and rear /wheels/rims. What should I ask for: a wheel/rim repair or new wheels. The wheels are stock OEM.

Were the wheels repaired before they ran it through the wash?????
Then why would you except repaired wheels??? Just sayin

Another example of why you should never let any service facility or dealer wash your car...only looking for trouble. Not only do I tell the service advisor that I don't want a wash, I also put blue painters tape on the windshield, as well as on my center console and written on the tape in bold is: DO NOT WASH

It does shock me how at luxury car dealerships like Porsche they'll have crap car washing methods that introduces nasty paint swirls on brand spanking new cars. It makes me cringe when I see the car wash dudes pick up sponges that were dropped on the ground and go straight back to scrubbing the car. They don't seem to understand that you don't actually need to "scrub" the car either to get the dirt off.

Was this @ a Porsche dealer???[/quote]
Yes, the dealer in my area. They have Range Rover, Jag. Maserati, Merc. Infinity, Maybach, Porsche and Smart Car. Just how can you be a expert in an area when you are so diverse.
Actually, I feel that they do not see many turbos and lack the skill and expertice for this model. Example, the airbag warning light came on. They told me it was 85% likely the sensor. They would replace the sensor for $500. If that didnt work then they would have to go into the control module/console. But I would still owe for the sensor.
