The stock GT3 brake ducts are pretty useless as they are a secondary cooling item on the GT3 where primary brake cooling is provided by radiator air being diverted over the brakes via the upper air guides. If you want good brake cooling swap out to those and the GT3 fender liners

Notch for steering tie rod?

Always wonder if I should ask in an old thread that's on topic or start a new?

I'm replacing mine and notice the circular cutout at the top do the steering tie rod will clear on compression. See pics above comparing.

The stock cutout means about 1" more clearance before hitting the tie rod on a big bump. It's a rigid plastic & probably not good hitting rod.

You guys didn't cut it out to match?
