Laser Shifter and Mobridge questions

Two quick questions. Is $800 installed a decent price for the Mobridge system for bluetooth and ipod? It doesn't have to be the best price because it is from a Porsche dealer so that I know it will be done correctly but I just want to make sure it in't off the charts.
I have a 9500ix right now and I want to add a laser shifter. I'm getting a Mobridge unit installed on Monday so I asked what the laser shifter would cost. The place I am getting it said that the laser shifter install was 8 hours. Is this normal for a 997 Turbo? That seems like a very long install for laser shifter. I want one but I can get a lot of tickets for $1350 bucks installed.

$800-$1,000 is what the dealer will normally charnge you for installation of the Laser shifter.
