new 991

I think it will be sweet, specially in turbo trim. I like the cabin upgrade, esp with PDK since you don't have much body mvmt with driving. I'm sure it will be better and faster than the last generation, but I'm keeping my 6sp for now as the gt-1 block with bolt ons is tough to beat for driving experience.

agreed! I've always liked the long reflector strip on the C4s, hope they retain for the new cars. Not a fan of these patchy reflectors.
overall car looks nice though. sort of happy to own the smaller 997 before these cars became too 'GT'.

I like what I see so far. The interior looks a notch better (if less mod friendly) and the subtle exterior changes just make it look a little sleeker. How it drives will make or break it for me. Since I just got my 997.1 I will hold onto that for a couple of years unless the reviews for the 991 are stellar.

I don't really know what to think about the car.. I like it, don't love it.
But that's always been the case for me with the Carreras.. No offense to you who own one.. but I'm a Turbo guy. Guess I'll have to wait for that.

+1. Agree .
And I'm sure things like badges/no badges and other minor personal preferences can be accommodated for in some cases but playing on individual negatives won't change the car guys. The mould is cast.

Looks really nice in and out. Although somehow it looks a bit ferrari to me.
especially this angle:
Nice to see 911s finally get higher redlines. 6,700 RPM is so 1980... also looks like it needs to be lowered at least 2" what's with the offroad stance?
