997 GT2 Exhaust Question

I currently have the Tubi Race exhaust from the Champion Motorsports stage 1 package.

What do you guys recommend as an upgrade from the Tubi system? GMG?

I also want to change out my headers...

Depends on how much money you want to spend. For about $13,000.00 get the Akrapovic Evolution system and be done with it.

if by upgrade you mean more power I would not be so sure your going to see a difference. You can spend more but not necesserily get more if you know what I mean.

Qs...what about the Tubi exhaust are you unhappy with?

We have our own in-house headers now as well...

Tom, with skilled welders and fabricators in house, you should design your own exhaust system.

We've thought about it, and made some custom pieces in the past. We even did a set of 997.2 C2S cat-less headers, some 997TT stuff....but the problem is we really just can't because of our relationship with Tubi. Being their NA importer has its advantages and drawbacks.

That being said...99% of the Porsche line from Tubi is either initially designed, or refined by us here...so when you buy a Tubi it's not necessarily just an off-the-shelf Tubi...there's usually been a few prototypes or revisions that were done here in house before the finished product hits the shelves.

I would give Betim at BBI a call. I had an exhaust from another well known tuner on my vehicle. Betim convinced me to try his system out and WHOA!! What a difference! I couldn't believe how much a difference there was between the two exhaust systems. Sound is great and my butt dyno can feel the difference.

Even with Kim Kardashians butt no way your going to feel any difference between a BBI catless and a Tubi catless on these cars - or anyones catless for that matter.
