Hey Guys, got a question - I am new owner of 997tt and love it is my dream car. (Actually got in December 2010) Haven't posted much but read the forums all the time.

However got a question about 1st to 2nd gear. Every time is switch from first to 2nd it is not smooth. Meaning it feels like there is an effort to switch and when i am second getting off the clutch is not smooth either. Feels rough - when i move the stick from 1st to second it feels like pulling or rubbing against something.... The only time is seems like a smooth switch is very very low rpms or high rpms(above 3500). Was wondering if I am looking into it to much or if there is an issue. Only have 28,000 miles on the car. (2008 Turbo)

I took the car to The Collection in Miami and they said it was normal but for some reason I don't think so??? Not sure if i am being paranoid.. So asking you guys for insight....

Any info would be good.

First to second takes a bit of effort when cold and especially if you have a short shift.

 

Mine feels the same way... especially in Sports Mode.
