aftermarket exhaust questions and CELs
#17
Key is what CEL codes....was it 4030 or some other code for exhaust?? Ask the tech, more often can be a bad O2 sensor, not cat's fault.

Thanks everyone. Europipe and Tubi are two that I have had my eye on. I do want to visit AWE when I have the time. I certainly would appreciate a somewhat local shop to provide customer service in the event of any problems.

post cat CEL / too rich is a common one with aftermarket exhausts. o2 will typically be fine, the cats efficiency is the problem, over time they get worse and rumor has it the big cat company everyone uses had made multiple revisions to the coatings in the process to prevent the CELs from being tripped.

Cat Efficiency
Yes I remember it being the Efficiency so I'm going to try these mini cats which are screwed in just before the exhaust bung for the ox sensor.. I don't want to spend the money to throw out this exhaust system again.. The factory is to quiet
