Question Stock 997 Turbo, Tyres + What mods to get?

Hey guys,

My friend recently got his first 997 turbo.

I looked up the forum and found that the most suitable set of tyres he can get are the Michelin PS2, or the Pirelli P-Zero Corsa. Which would you recommend? and are there any others recommended?

Also what's the simplest mod he could add to the car to gain a little more power?
I tried looking up flashes, I ended up finding the APR and the Softronic Tuning flashes for the car. Any other recommendations? What did you guys try?

Thanks

PS2 if you got decent mods.

ECU + exhaust for the first choice of mods.

You have a PM for some advice.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Better than PS2 and cheaper.

I think the first mods are a toss up between an exhaust with possible associated tune (it almost seems too easy) or suspension.

I went with suspension first. The stock setup is numb and doesn't inspire much confidence in the corners. Yes, the car has lots of grip and is capable, but just feels poor.

Next will probably be exhaust and maybe a tune once my factory warranty is up. The stock exhaust is bad.

If you haven't done a drivers school or have some DE days under your belt those should be your first "investments" in the car by a long shot.
