If it's not misfiring, it's dissipating heat properly, and the A/Fs look good, I don't see why it should be a problem in theory. That said, I'm with you in thinking it just doesn't seem safe. Oh man, this is just the coolest thing ever. Congrats.

Is this setup E85 ONLY. What does this setup do on pump or pump+meth ? Are the turbos 3076 / .82 or .63 ?

I thought that stuff would burn cold, but for some reason, it lights up the turbos like there’s no tomorrow.
Todd<O</O

It does burn cooler but you're putting 30% more fuel mass across the turbine.

E85-only simply due to large injector size. If you run smaller injectors, you can run both gas and E85. Turbos are Alpha 3076, a/r ratio is proprietary, at least I don't know.

30% is the fuel trim adjustment for the stoichiometry. It's more like 15% greater combustion mass if you go through the calcs but you have the right idea.

You have .63 A/R unless you asked for .82 A/R which apparently you did not.

Also E85 requires around 40% more fuel flow, that's why you need bigger injectors.

Would love to see a dyno graph showing the spool difference between the .63 A/R and the .82 A/R

I just checked my emails and I have one from Jake who specifically stated there is only one option for the turbine housing. Maybe some people can get custom set-ups but mine is pretty much standard. It's less expensive that way.

it's around 300 rpm's and 82 picks up 20 more hp on top.

I don't think so actually. I've never heard of a turbo that only comes with one option for the turbine housing maybe I'm wrong though.

Alpha 3076 has two turbine housing option;

1- Tial turbine housing with internal wastegate (this doesnt have any other AR option)

2- Regular Garrett T3 flanged turbine housing with external wastegate
(you can get 0.63 or 0.82 a/r with this housing)

besiktas's a3076 turbos have Garrett turbine housings at the back so he had tried 0.63 and 0.82 on them.

I hope this will clarify the A/R subject

Thanks Emre. That makes sense. I have the internal wastegate turbo.
