Great Vid. Wish we had a Ring here in CT. And Eclou, you're right. That's some serious speed.

Few notions...:

1. 7:58 BTG with that temporary track arrangement where Nordschleife connects to the GP-track. That's seriously fast. It helps that it wasn't a Touristenfahrt but a private event with a whole lap to be used.
2. GT-R driver had some curious lines and was slowing down the turbo's driver.
3. Gumpert just vanished after Bergwerk!! Stellar performance!
4. I happen to know both that turbo's driver and the owner at pax seat...owner's still even faster.
5. turbo's driving with "semi"slicks and the car is stationed at 'Ring.

My humble best BTG after about 75 laps is 8:51...Touristenfahrt.

Great vid!
Man, I would love to drive that.
I guarantee that comparatively speaking, I'd be slow as death, but it would be a blast.

Awesome video. The GTR definitely had curious lines, the Porsche looked rock solid, but it could have been the camera mount and the Gumpert was not as fast as I would have assumed. Wish I was there!

That was an awesome video of 3 fast cars having a helluva time on what is arguably the greatest track in the World. It would be fantastic to have that track in our backyard. Living in Long Island, NY really stinks with respect to getting track time reasonably close to home. No matter how many times I see that German track its never too much. So jealous. To have to drive 2 hours to the closest track is a serious buzzkill and even then nothing in the USA can ever compare to the Green Hell.

More info of that video...yes, Apollo's driver is Adrian Sutil, who had few hours before crashed a´( totalled ) another Apollo S...
GT-R was drivin on very worn-out Toyo R888s and later that day ( = read during the next night ) Nissan's brakes were completely ( yes: discs, calipers, pads & fuids ) changed to new ones at Nissan's shop at 'Ring.
