Especially for Euros who can run long high speeds on autobahns?

My 997.1 is approx 680chp/900Nm (will be re-dynoed soon), so I ask myself about rebuilding with Carillo's, but expensive, so if no need...

If you ask 5 different people this question, you'll get 5 different answers. No one answer is more right then the other. It really depends on your tuner, the hardware they use, and your goals for power.

I can only speak from my own experience, and the experiences we've had in the shop here. With our 68mm VTG kit, we've found that rods bent at just over 700 hp/tq AT THE WHEELS (which would be roughly 875-900 at the crank)

Because of that, we only tune cars with stock engines to about 650 on pump gas and 675 on race gas, to the wheels. We feel this leaves a safe cushion. None of the cars we have tuned to this power level (over 50 cars) has had any issues with engine internals.

Ok, I often run high speeds, perhap's (?) more often than the most of your customers (because of the low speed laws in USA), but my 997 is under the 650whp level, so I hope driving and sleeping quiet...
