Carbon fiber wrap
#16
looks good, nice selection of different wrap textures and styles. Although if your looking for just carbon fibre, I am sure whatever your looking to have wrapped is avalible from some company like ROTtec or MAShaw in real carbon fibre.
Nothing beats the real deal. It's like having your gurlfreinds **** done, or trying to do them yourself. Trust me there is no competition.

You're right about real CF weave vs the 3M wrap. I fixed my buddy's Ducati fender which was real CF and I used CF weave and epoxy. After sanding and polishing and clear coating it looked like factory carbon fiber. The 3M will always look suspect. However, I have wrapped using 3M Di-Noc and then brushed on a layer of marine-grade epoxy resin and it looks really nice after a light sand and polish. Di-Noc is a great do-it-yourself project that can be very cost effective with a nice look. Nothing beats real CF done right but that costs a lot and if done by yourself expect to spend a LOT of time getting the look you want...and using up a ton of weave and epoxy because you WILL make mistakes.

it takes a bunch of practice, i know this first hand but when you get it right it's well worth the efforst. Real carbon is the only way to go. Fake is never cool.
But if you want to say make a decal out of the carbon 3m stuff that would be cool to make a design or incorperate it into the grafix. The more I say this it makes me think rice. Real carbon is the only way.
