Post EP-1 + Dec28= Porsche Symphony + Big Smile

I searched for over two months on the best exhaust system for my 997TT .I watched many videos , I listened to many sound clips ,I talked to many people, and I read many threads ,but at the end when the dust settled down the answer for me was EP_1. So,I ordered a Europipe exhaust(EP_1) for my 997TT about 12 days ago from Stef at Europipe. He kept me up to date on manufacturing and shipping progress. Emails were sent every step of the way ( one of the emails I recived at 10:30 pm Belgium time . He will answer your emails day or night). The system arrived on the date promised ;better yet , It arrived on my BIRTHDAY Dec. 28 . It was the best birthday gift for a long time.
The package arrived with FEDEX and when I saw the box , I couldn't believe the perfection. The box itself is a work of art. All custom and locked the exhaust system down tight, no chance of damage(first class packaging). He included custom made tools , bolts and nuts with the package (see attached pictures) . Also a detailed email on how to install the EP_1.
This man is a pleasure to deal with (He is devoted and passionate to his art).
He is very competent and attentive. I can't say enough about the customer service focus of Stef @Europipe.The quality of workmanship on the exhaust is superb and the welds on this exhaust system rivals the best. I feel that I really got what I paid for .
I have not had the chance to install it. I am waiting for the spark plugs arrival from Suncoast Porsche (I figured that I should replace the plugs while the exhaust system is out ).
More will follow after the installation of EP-1
Thank you Stef for all your help.Best of luck to you and your business!

I still need to hear one in person

You made an excellent choice.
Europipe's quality is second to none. Can be used as wall art.

I purchased the same exhaust last year and still love the sound it makes each day I fire up the flat six. Congratulations.

Agree 100% about Europipe and Stef. When I chose the EP1, I looked at this forum. Everywhere I found people selling many other exhaust brands with "less than 1000 miles of use" or "my loss is your gain", "I love the sound but my wife doesn't" etc. etc.

I have yet to see someone buy a Europipe and then turn around and try to sell it on this forum after "less than 1 month of use", or less than "500 miles"etc. When a Europipe is for sale, it's either the car is being sold or an "upgrade" to a EP2.

Read between the lines: Europipe is one of the best, if not the best. Great sound, better flow and performance and for me, the most important criteria: ZERO drone.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Yes EP-1 is a beautiful looking exhaust system and soon after installing it ,I'll be hearing Porsche EP-1 symphony conduct by the famous artisan Stef & Herman Tourne' from Belgium.

Best part yet to come ....

I see Stef sent you his custom bent wrenches, are you doing the install yourself? I installed mine and would do it again despite the minor struggles ....

Congrats bro ...

Is there a walk through? I am fairly mechanically inclined and was considering installing myself. I swore off doing exhausts a long time ago because usually the old one is rusted and you have to fight it or cut it. Then when you line it up you have to fight with clamps and hangers to keep it from rubbing on the car which is a huge pita

But the porsche exhaust is so short I was wondering if it would be an easy install

What kind of struggles did you have?

I'm happy that you're happy with the new pipe. It was a pleasure building it for you.
Man those cats look huge in your pictures.
Looking forward to hear your comment after the first cold start!

Also thank you guys for all your nice comments.
Cheers, Stef

Getting the stock system off was the biggest struggle .. Next was tightening the top nuts ... I did not remove the intercoolers, would've had an easier time if I did ....
