Manual Sport Seat Opinions/Experience?

Manual Sport Seat Opinions/Experience?
I am looking at a car with manual sport seats. My understanding after researching this is that the back of the seat moves, but that the fore/aft and height are manual and that their is no lumbar. Don't get me started on the way Porsche options cars. My 928 in 1989 had this as standard. EDIT: I spent some time on porsche car configurator and did a more extensive search. It appears that these seats have no "rake" control on the bottom, meaning the lower seat angle cannot be adjusted. If anyone can confirm that, please do.
I think this is a critical missing item...
1) Does anyone have these seats?
2) Does anyone dislike them?
How much are used adaptive sports seats if I hate these manual sports seats?
While disinclined to "settle" the car is otherwise well optioned and well priced.
It has red seat belts that I will replace too..but that is only a cost consideration, not a "can i live with this" consideration.
Thanks!

i have had sport seats in all my previous cars and found them pretty comfortable but yes, they are manual for other than the recline & there is no ability to tilt the bottoms.
i never had an issue with the manual aspect in the past as i found once the seats were dialed in, i only altered the recline on highway vs city driving. for/aft & up down would never be adjusted. passengers on the other hand always had issues, but i don't sit in that seat - so to speak!
anyway, my turbo came with sport adaptable & passengers love them!
i like the lumbar as i have found in the last year that this adjustment is needed for longer driving comfort; as well & not mentioned is the fact that they have an adjustable width for both the upper and lower. i really like this as you can dial in an amazingly tight feel when wanted and loosen off if wearing thicker clothing or just relaxing.
fitting in after - ask a dealor: there is clearly electrical work running to the seats.

Ok, thanks for this. I think that rules out the manual w/o the bottom being adjustable. I really appreciate the response and the perspective. I'm pretty much sold on *** (adaptive sport seats!).

I had the sport adaptives in my old 997.1 GT3 and have the manual sport seats in my 997.2 TTS. The manual seats do not have any adjustment for the seat bottom angle; the height of the seat and the fore-aft position are manually adjustable and the seatback angle is power adjustable. Compared to the sport adaptives they do seem to sit a centimeter or so lower in the back of the seat so you do seem to gain a little headroom (important to me as I am 6' 5"), but you do lose thigh support (so your legs do get a little tired on longer drives).
If I had to choose again I would get the sport adaptives or if I am looking in a few years at a 991 (GT3RS or TTS) I would get the fully adjustable seats with the adjustable seat bottom length and the in seat ventilation (I have them on my 2011 Cayenne TT and they are great).
