thats great , it allways good , if you build or just see how your engine going to be build .. just if you do not mind tell us what your engine build will be ? just rods ? 3.6 or you will go to 3.8 ? etc etc

if this will be your secret its ok dave i understand it , you deserve all the best

No problem. Just basic "Stage 1" upgrade with rods and studs. Keeping it 3.6L, reusing stock pistions, sleeves, crank, valve train, etc...

Meh- I'd leave it alone until it leaks or has to come apart for other reasons. Personally, if I was going to the expense of breaking down my motor, I'd opt for a new case to be safe.

Although I think its fine there are products that are equal to or stronger than the substrate in question. These products will add back the material lost while protecting from further damage.

We use it to repair dies and jigs under extreme pressure with no problems whatsoever. It will provide piece of mind that if it does happen again you are well protected.
