Ooooo....interest piqued. Can't get over the size of those meats on the rear, that is one serious tire right there. This should be a fun thread to watch, subscribed! Would love to hear a vid of that exhaust too. Which exhaust is it?

How it all began.
How do you make the perfect car better? Well, I guess perfect is relative. The customer was looking for a more expressive exhaust note, and some incremental power to boot.
First, we needed a baseline power and torque figure.
Once we had our baseline figure, we began disassembling the stock exhaust.
The stock exhaust weighs in at 29lbs, which is fairly light. However, while making 90 more hp, the GT2 RS uses essentially the same exhaust system found on the “lesser” 2008-10 997 GT2. The part numbers for the catalysts and muffler are identical between the two cars.
The stock system may be pretty light, but its main drawback is the use of 625 cell per inch catalysts. That, and the slightly small 64mm / 2.50” OD tubing.
The AWE Tuning design will incorporate the latest generation German HJS 200 cell catalysts along with much larger 76mm / 3.00” OD tubing.
Over the coming weeks we’ll take you behind the scenes of how both exhaust and software work is done for one of the most sought after rides on the planet.

This is very interesting. The GT2RS has been timed at 28.9s from 0-300 kph, and dyno'd 593 rwhp. The AWE 750R package for the 997.1 TT dyno'd at 630 rwhp and turned 28s from 0-300 kph (into a 20mph headwind and with a soft launch) at the TX Mile. Considering the additional weight (500 lbs) and parasitic losses of the AWD system, the 750R package seems to deliver as promised
