WOW. That is insane, looks like they clipped the roof with the jaws of life to extract the driver.
Hopefully he/she is o.k.

According to this article he did die shortly after the accident. Can't find anything else about it.

I seriously doubt anyone could survive that kind of accident, and even if they did, they're horribly crippled for life.

I lived in Kuwait City for 2 years, this type of thing happens all the time although probably not with 997 Turbos. I've never seen Kuwaiti police wearing vests like that in English though, that must be new.

I have literally seen 3-4 fatal accidents occur with my own eyes while in Kuwait City over that 2 year period. The driving there is absolutely insane, and people don't wear seat belts. The worst one I saw literally included people being thrown out the front windshield of a Chevy Suburban after running a red light and broad siding a car. I wish the people in this accident the best, it's a shame but the value placed on life is just different over there.

Edit: Blue/white/yellow BMW police car is most decidedly Kuwaiti, don't recognize the road/area though. Might be the 30 or 40 highway.

Light poles are stronger than you'd think... They don't bother with breakaway pole bases over there either.

That's what I was thinking..

Lots of 'he died', 'he didn't die' comments.. I've seen a lot of accidents in my time, and I don't see how anyone could have survived a side-shot like that.
