Don't plan on selling the parts. I'll keep them if I decide to reinstall or for the next owner should I decide to sell the car at some point. I think they left the parts in the frunk. I haven't even checked

Mate i'd be checking every nut bolt and washer if i were you. That stuff is gold. You want to make sure it's all there for if ever you need it...

Looks like a fantastic setup and can't wait to check out Daren's setup in a few weeks. Have you guys decided on seats/belts yet? Also will this bar have options for camera mounts?

I already have the OEM 997 GT2 seats and the Schroth Profi 2's as you can see from the pics. Daren said these seats are a bit too wide for him (just rub it in there, Daren. LOL). Not sure what he's decided on.

As far as mounts, I bought this for my GoPro.

Pretty sure I'll be going with a dedicated fixed back track seat just for the driver's side to start with. I'll need to go up to Infineon and try a few on my butt first. I'm leaning toward Cobra Sebring Pro Technology or the Suzuka Pro Technology with Outlast cushioning.

I don't think I'll have the seat in place yet for our April 9th date, but hope to have everything ready for our May dates.

Hey Ed,

A little protection added today. After getting it detailed earlier this week and having service work done yesterday. The detailer's slammed the passenger seat up against the B-pillar X and scuffed it up. Yesterday the guys doing my brakes scuffed up the driver's side. Sorry for the crappy iPhone images (sometimes it works magic and other times it looks like crap).

Cheers, VID

Yikes. Gotta love the carelessness of others. Is that swimming pool noodle-grade foam or the real FIA stuff?

LOL....nothing on the inside of a street car is FIA approved!!!! Including your GT2 seats!!!

Its actually some dense foam padding I found at OHS. I have a track day on Monday and didn't want anymore scuffing caused by potential, careless passengers (if any). Its temporary until I can get the good stuff. Again if the car goes up in flames the roll bar padding will be the least of my worries.
