I wanted to reshare our ECU Tuning of the Porsche 997.2 Turbo S. All done via the OBDII port Softronic has taken this 530bhp car to 540awhp on 91 octane. This translates into over 615bhp. In addition to these dyno claims, we can also back up our ECU Flash with extremely strong PBox Numbers from a customers 2010 Turbo PDK as seen below. You cant fudge GPS!

My 997.1 tt tiptronic has softronic tune,does it make more power on standard mode?do you recommend use standard mode in drag race?

If it is the first run of the night, try sport mode. But I think you will find that Standard mode will have more power top end where you need it going down the 1/4.

 

Here is the dyno graph we did with our 997.2 Turbo S. You can see the Tuned HP and TQ numbers.

 

Since we did not have the stock file in our car when we bought it, we used another customers STOCK file from a TTS. The DFI 91 and 93oct files are the same actually. So what we are going to do is:

- Load the stock file, run the car.
- Load the tuned file, run the car.
- Then add race gas to get 93, run the car.

This will show you actual back to back results. Another tid bit of info, we can also flash a stock non S file to the car and show that stock HP. Stay tuned!

 

Is there a difference in the 91 and 93 tunes on the 997.1?

 

Yes the 93 file as more timing which gives you more power.

 

I'm curious to see the results on this one as I am loading the Softronic tune for my 997.1 TT.

I have the 93 Octane 997.1TT tune and love it, and can attest to Dan's claims. It has been flawless and a great bump in power....

Dan....Curious if you have any idea what my BHP is with the 997.1 TT now? I only have a high flow BMC F1 filter, Performance headers and the tune (also put the new cooler iridium plugs and new variocam actuators for good measure).

Still loving the tune and no issues at all except burning through new tires too fast! Kudos to you and Scott...Your service was great!

Thank you so much. A 997.1TT does about 400awhp on our Dyno. I would factor your at maybe 480awhp which is 580-600bhp. Since you have 93oct tune its better then my initial test with 93. The biggest help now for you is the exhaust. The stock exhaust and the 400cell cats is very restrictive. It robs alot of the top end power.
