If you get used 997.2 cornering lights(complete) and just pop them in 997,1 you need to do some programming with piwis in order to eliminate warning lights in instrument cluster...However cornering wont operate until you get an electronic unit for cornering and (in some cases) two additional wires...

I have elctronic unit for cornering and original wirings from a 997.2 car and i still cant make it work...
The lights work without error but cornering no...

Nick...did you code front module for cornering lights?also remember they wont operate at standstill so its not easy to determine whether they operate...

I was surprised that wasnt the original design, I thought there was some govt regulation that states you had to be able to see turn signals from the side and that is why most cars have them on the front corners, so it covers the front and side with one housing.

I just installed the Adaptive cornering lights on my 997.1 Carrera S. Love the look. I understand that I can't use the adaptive cornering but to get rid of the leveling warning light, did you guys just take it to the dealership for programing?

I have seen this on a couple other 997's... How is it done?
