Another quick and good update:
I opened up the lights and swiveled them straight. It feels like there is enough tension in the light motor to hold the low beam in place. There is a tiny bit of micro play, but the major motion seems to be firm.
Here are some pictures showing the straight low beams.
Now to get rid of this faulty headlight warning....

997.1 headlights uses h11 for high beam while 997.2 uses h7.use piwis or durametric to code lights as gt3 to eliminate error and then adjust manually with 5mm allen key to correct height... est d2s bulbs at my opinion are osram 4300k night breaker and philips 4800k extreme vision...

You only deal with the cornering light aligment if the headlights had that feature, right? You can buy with non cornering light to avoid that issue.

I purchased a set of adaptives for my 2010 GT3 from Germany (my car came with the regular HIDs). Always preferred the cut off and better visibility without dispersion of the ROW headlights so I've been scouring the interwebs for some time. I found this set pretty cheap on the German Ebay and pulled the trigger. Gotta love the cheap Euro.
Installed them yesterdat, it was a breeze. Even added 3000K high beams to cut through mist and fog better.
Beam pattern is great, worthwhile improvement for that alone!
Initially I had an error message telling me the headlight motors weren't working. I re-coded the car with PIWIS so that it recognizes the adaptive headlights and the message disappeared.
Next step is to see if the car has the wiring for the adaptive headlight module and then I'll buy the module itself.
Here's some pics...
And I just noticed that the Turbo bumper washer nozzles are further to the side while on the GT3 they are in the middle. Interesting.

Final update: the dynamic swivel headlights are straight, the vertical height has been adjusted using one of the tools recommended on the thread, and the warning on the dash has been eliminated thanks to my local porsche mechanic. Done and done guys!
Now if anyone figures out how to get the self-leveling and adaptive lights to work...

Almost impossible to do this. PIWIS and a lot of trouble...
You can leave the headlight as the are now. Fixed, it will work like Halogenlights, why not.
In germay this is not roadlegal so stoped all my affords to do this.
One dirty patch would be to change the servomotor from the 997.1 in the 997.2 headlight and change some wires. On a 997.2 the swap is almost plug and play, both lights were availble at these days in the facelift model.
The 997.2 GT2RS came with the 997.1 xenon and there where mo conering lights as an option I belive. So the working lights you swaped out are more race like.
