Stiffer engine/transmission mounts?

Stiffer engine/transmission mounts?
Has anyone put in stiffer engine or transmission mounts on their TT? I'm looking to reduce the sloppiness and weight transfer that happens in these cars.
I don't care about ride quality or vibration, but I do care about long term longevity and reliability of the car. Would installing either of these affect this? Who makes reputable mounts? Thanks in advance.

With springs or coil overs coupled with RSS dog bones etc. you may find yourself not concerned with solid engine mounts. that is of course unless you are a serious track junkey trying to squeeze out that extra second timewise. If you have not installed the RSS toe steer and dog bones do that first, the improvement is fantastic.

Here's a DIY and a review:

I think AWD Motorsports (sponsor) also carries Torque Solutions, which have gotten some pretty positive reviews.

Be careful with solid mounts - some have reported the vibrations transmitted can sometimes trip the knock sensors causing the ECU to cut power (boost, timing.)

I could be wrong, but I think the OP may be asking about the sloppiness in shifting that occurs in weight shifts i.e. WOT from 2-3. Most drivers experience the sensation of the drivetrain unit moving relative to the chassis mass. The opportunity for forces to move the drivetrain comes from many inputs. The degree of independent movement of the drivetrain is responsible for some of the “sloppy” feeling. Transmission and engine mounts will help address this.
Thanks for all of the feedback and recommendations. I will be looking into the mounts mentioned. Really looking to eliminate that sloppiness as bbywu mentioned. Sounds like I'm not the only one whose noticed this issue and has actually addressed it.

Great information. While researching the WEVO mounts I came across a group buy if anyone's interested https://www.facebook.com/events/430124350350569/.
I'm still not sure if these will make much of a noticeable difference for a car that sees no track time. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Wevo
Wevo mounts give a much better "feel" for your rear end and I highly recommend them. I really enjoy mine, they are the mid-stiffness as the hard ones can be a bit jarring for everyday driving. Feel the car! A great addition to suspension mods!

Just committed, to a set of RSS Engine mounts from the guys at SharkWerks. Seems to be best price and RSS is definitely a trusted company when it comes to Porsche suspension performance!

From what I have heard - I have high expectations for these.
Not too mention - they look pretty damn sweet
...In two weeks I'll be setting off for a long road trip through the Rockies - so will update everyone on road holding and feel once I'm back.
