Removing turbos
#16
Update:
So it's been a week since I removed both turbos to have 65mm billet wheels installed. The shop doing the tear down of the turbos is also going to rebuild them with new inconel turbine seals and bearings while we wait for the wheels to arrive. He sourced these hard to find parts through Borg Warner and a associate in U.K. The opportunity for these rebuilds might be possible for other 997tt owners in the future as he and I have discussed this venture.
Keep you posted!

Given that I don't own a 997 (yet), how is access back there? Were you just up on regular jack stands to get enough clearance underneath?
Never worked on Rear engine car. Not sure if I'm looking forward to it or not.
