I have aquired a used set of RS97 Champion, wheels. As you all can read the rims are interchangable by offset between the 996 and 997 wide body models. However tpms was not standard until the 997. Rather than drive daily with the tire pressure sensor lights I ordered the tpms thru tire rack as per Champions recommendation. Upon installation the tech realized the 997 tpms valve stems do not fit the wheels. A call to Champion tech support states that there were a version of RS96 wheels and eventually moved to the RS97 while the same design there is a slightly larger lip allowing the larger valve stem/sensor to mount. Now i am left with the wheels that require the smaller valve stem for my 997TT standard brake option.

Does anyone have a viable option with the sensors and stem that will fit these type of wheels?

Are the boxter or caman 05-06 interchangable?

Does anyone know of a different option while still having a tpms ?
