The Coolest 911 Ever?

Oh yeah...she ain't cheap that's for sure. Just the carbon fiber RSR bodywork alone costs and arm and a leg! Not to mention the $160k Turbo S it's attached to, $15K in custom Ohlins, $30k in Magnesium whees....it adds up QUICK!

OK, here are some exclusive behind the scenes pictures for you guys. I'll try to give a little description of each one...to point out some of the details.
I also wanted to mention that we not only fabricated a lot of the carbon fiber parts right here at our Werks1 production building, but we also completely stripped and painted the entire car there too. It was the only way to really keep quality control 100% in...well...control.
In the 2 pics below you can get a good look at all the custom carbon ducting that had to be made to accomodate the front radiators. Also notice that what used to be the trunk now houses the front radiator, which vents out of the hood and provides functional downforce.
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Only a very very keen eye will notice that we had to add several ducts to the bottom of the factory RSR undertray because of the fact that our car is a Turbo. Without them, there would be some serious heating issues.
Again, pretty self-explanatory, but this pic gives you an idea of the lengths we went to in order to make sure the RSR bodywork and paint are flawless. After doing A LOT of work to the Porsche bodywork to make it showroom quality, the entire car was then completely stripped in order to get ready for paint.
Here we are with the interior going back in, the front ducting attached, and a good look at the custom carbon fiber and kevlar reinforced fender liners we built to make it "streetable".
A good look at the rear shows our 68mm VTG turbos, headers, straight-thru exhaust, suspension arms, RSR sway bar setup, and Ohlins 4 ways. Once again, a keen eye will spot our billet PDK pan installed as well.
Our first day of track testing, with our good friend Lucas Luhr behind the wheel. For what it's worth, he absolutely LOVED this car. I think he said "can I take it home?" after he was done...lol.
And lastly, here's a couple Jekyl and Hyde pictures....all black and ready to attack at the track. And looking pretty in our photo studio for the glam shots. You can see these pics and a few more in our Flickr gallery just click the link in my sig.

Looks absolutely sick in that RSR kit and those wheels. Custom offset/width on magnesium wheels, dont even want to know what they cost, then throw in the cost of the RSR kit and the labor to make it fit right etc....major coin in that car.
When I saw "coolest 911 ever" in the title I was very skeptical...but you might actually be close.

The wheels are all magnesium and unfortunately they're just one-offs that we had made specifically for this car. 3 sets exist, and the buyer will get all 3.

makes the 2rs look like a wimp! haha
only negative i can find is the exhaust - fully understand the rsr look was desired, surely a crossover would make better performance?

So is is $30k for all 3 sets, or $90k?
I am sure a few people will pull together, pretty decent at $10k a set.

Thanks Austin! The Car And Driver guys were seriously impressed with how calmly the car drove around the track and how well the programming worked with the big turbo setup. Once we told them about the secret ingredient called GIAC, they understood why.
Got it Adam, sorry for the delay, I'll write back as soon as I can. Past couple days have been a bit hectic for me.
We're running 345 rears and 295 fronts. I don't remember the exact rim widths....but I think they're 12 inch rear and 10.5 inch fronts. I'll have to double check.

Tom, thanks for sharing. This is the single most impressive 911 project I've run across; talk about advancing the "state of the art."
I even fall in love with the look; so beautifully over the edge!!
You're making it hard for me to go back to my humble Turbo. Ah well at least we share the same GIAC tuner LOL.
