Hawaii owners? Cons of buying a car from Hawaii?
Found something I'm giving serious thoughts to but it's in Hawaii... Not sure what the cons are there but from my past visit roads seems pretty bad, sea salt is a concern and it seems like no one utilizes garages even though they have them. Car is located in Honolulu and shipping doesn't seem bad but just wanted to see if there were any issues that maybe of concern

I am from Hawaii. I bought my car here in Hawaii
And there were no issues. Let me know what and where
The car your looking at is and I can check it out for you.
Even in Hawaii we put our turbos in the garage.

trying to reach the dealer selling it, JNC but kind of getting the run around on who actually knows anything about the car and if and when I can get a PPI done. They are telling me that theres a deal in progress so it may not be for sale any longer. After reasearching JNC it seems like they also rent out exotic cars so not sure if this is going to work out or not (don't feel like buying a previous rental)...
hypers09: thanks for the offer and ill definetly hit you up if the deal goes through!

I recently purchased a p car here in hawaii and had the PPI done by German Auto Specialists, who I would highly recommend (also helps the owner has a 997.1 tt of his own)
Not sure if you are interested in Guards Red but here is a CPO one at the Porsche Dealer.

Good luck...

Not a p car but I'll give them a ring to see what they can do. JNC states they may have a buyer but will let me know within 24hours. They can do a PPI since they are authorized dealer but want a independent opinion.
