clutch problem

I have a 2007 Switzer R911 with stage 3 clutch. I have a soft clutch that bottoms out...basically I have no clutch. This started after normal driving. Seems like a hydrolic problem??? What do you think? Thx

the accumulators and hydraulic slaves are only meant for stock pressure plate ratings. anything in addition will increase the wear rate as well on top of the already somewhat faulty setup.

That's odd. I have replaced 2 slaves on different Turbos and each time the clutch was harder not softer. Have you had it looked at yet?

If the accumulator goes it won't equalize pressure from the hydraulic pump on the rear and often blow out fluid at the weakest points...usually the o-ring seals in the pentosin lines. This also creates a hard pedal feel since the pressure from the accumulator is now working against the clutch master cylinder inside the slave. When the slave goes, you lose the assist from both typically creating a harder pedal feel in order to actuate the clutch fork.

What I meant to say about the accumulator is that when it goes bad, it seems to not release pressure and constantly holds built up pressure taking all the feel away from the pedal and becoming soft. I will be curious to see what the results are. Accumulators are 125 from Suncoast I believe.
