as she sits, based on similar builds, the power should be around 725/725 on 93 pump and 750-760/775 on c16... similar builds with good drivers on street tires hit 10.7@ 135 in the 1/4 ... the car that ran the 10.7 car cut a best 60' time of a 1.655 with obvious traction issues from street tires. I talked to the customer at length about how far he wants to go with the power and we decided to leave it alone at this power level and buy another car to make REALLY fast.

heres as pic someone took of Jose at the Houston C&C:

I like that boost gauge solution.

Did you just simply unplug the factory chrono and turnoff the chrono function via Porsche computer? Is that a 60mm defi gauge? Was it plug in (no trimming)? Where did you tap the boost reading from?

Thanks..

we didnt do the install here as the car is in houston but the installer said he just unplugged and removed the factory chrono pod, he didn't disable the chrono function as the customer had never used it before and didn't know or care how it worked. the gauge is the 60mm defi red racer and fits in the pod with very minimal trimming, the boost source was the FPR vacuum pressure hose and the ashtray light was used for illumination on the gauge.

actually the pod was trimmed, they are cheaper to replace than a Defi gauge
