Where'd you hide the V1 install?

Thanks to:
  • Todd Helme / David Fermani for the full day detail and Opti-Coat
  • Alan Seligman - Xpel Ultimate Clear Bra
  • USP Motorsports - Smoked Rear LED Tails
  • Vivid Racing: AP DRLs, KW V3's
  • Wheels Boutique: HRE P47SC 20x9 and 20x13 (Thank you Ben! Pictures don't do justice to how good these really look!)
  • Radar Mirror: Rearview mirror with integrated V1 display
  • Exclusive Option: Leather/Yellow Stiching Chrono Pod, Door Finishers, Map Light Cover
  • Performance Race Solutions (Sanford, FL): Suspension install!!
  • Octave Audio (Winter Park, FL): V1 and Laser Interceptor Install!

The car came with a Miltek exhaust which will come off at some point, since it won't fit the Champion rear diffuser. I'm really trying to avoid power mods, but I know I'll succumb to the pressure at some point.......

Here are the pics. Enjoy!

My installer found this to be a major pain. It was mounted/velcroed onto the roof (literally), under the headliner. Totally stealth. He had to get longer phone cord to connect the main unit to the remote in the mirror too. PM if you have any questions.

The V1 volume switch and Laser Interceptor switch are located underneath my handbrake.

Thanks! David and Todd were super cool and did an awesome job! Great tips on detailing too. I wash my cars weekly, tends to be my therapy....

How you liking the V3's so far? I'm really loving mine, although sometimes the ride at low speeds is a bit harsh. Once I get above 40 or 50, the ride smooths out considerably. I'm thinking I just need to fiddle with the rebound settings a bit.
Honored by the compliment Adam, your 996tt in your sig is one of the first turbos I'd seen with a well done set of HRE's. The center locks on the new one are pretty awesome. My settings for the coilovers are set past the halfway point, so the ride feels just a bit firmer than 'Sport' mode, the firmer ride makes up for it in the turns.

Thanks for the compliments. I kept debating on a wheel choice (BBS CH-R, HRE SC series, DPE 3-piece concave, DPE stepped lip). The P40SCs look really good in person, but I loved the look of a monoblock split 5 spoke. When Ben told me in could get a great concave look with the P47SCs I was sold!! These wheels really need to be seen in person. If you are looking for wheels for your 911 ask for the WB (Wheel Boutique) offset!

What a difference a few subtle mods will do!

Next up should be the AWE Exhaust system!
