My first DIY. front spoiler lip replacement
Picked up the car last week and first thing I did was order a new OEM front lip from sunset imports porsche. the car only has 24k miles but the previous owner had the lip painted black and the road rash speckled the paint pretty badly
The lip itself wasn't too badly scuffed but it had to go. I actually think if he had left it unpainted it wouldn't have shown any wear.
Here it is next to the new lip
Now the simple step of removing the screws and swapping out the old for the new
Good as new
Literally a 5 minute DIY. Old lip removes relatively easily with a bit of pressure. After you've removed the 2 screws all you need to do is lift and pull and it pops right out. (local dealer wanted to charge for 30 minutes of labor to install)

I tried to remove the stock lip on my 2007 Turbo and I unscrewed the 2 screws, one on each side. I could not remove the lip. Do I pull on it from the center away from the front hood? Do I pull out and downwards toward the ground? I noticed there are tabs along the top side of the lip. My car was not on a lift when I attempted this. Any advice would be appreciated

once you release the first clip the rest will follow using the same technique. Just remember, up and out
hope this helps

Sorry to bother you about something silly and off topic but I noticed in the pic's what I presume to be your garage floor. I just had mine done with epoxy but it is nowhere near as nice as yours. What is that coating that you have on the floor if you don't mind me asking?
Kind regards,
Peter

once the two screws are out, start on one end and with one hand lift the corner and firmly pull to release the clips. use your thumb as a lever against the bumper. 5 minute job

LOL! horatio is a trip but I have to admit he has clean cars. The tech at Rector admitted that the used cars they inspect from horatio are in superior condition to the used cars porsches they sell at their dealership. The europipe exhaust is calling my name but the wife is shooting me some nasty looks. I think her exact words were "we're taking a euro trip before you waste any more money on this europipe thing"
