ESMotor 4.1 Liter Porsche 997 Turbo First Results

Hello everybody,

Today, I would like to share some very first results from my recently finished and broken-in ESMotor 4.1 liter engine. I am very impressed depending this is only the base tune and only a couple of runs. Also on a 22 celcius degrees weather. We'll start fine-tuning this week.

1 bar

100 - 200 km/h : 4.5 seconds
60 - 130 mph : 5.2 seconds

1.2 bar

100 - 200 km/h : 4.3 seconds
60 - 130 mph : 5,0 seconds

1,4 bar

100 - 200 km/h : 3,9 seconds
60 - 130 mph : 4,6 seconds

And not necessarilly needed to say that there is still plenty of room with these boost levels. Hope to share some more results soon.

Cheers,

Salih

Assuming the 4.1L build has a different camshaft, do you feel any difference or reaction when driving? Please give more details on your build. Clarify the Fuel system, turbos, intercoolers, and trans for me. I have a built tiptronic and built motor but kept the stock 3.6L . I wonder how much additional power in the power bands, I would love to see dyno graphs

Cheers to you and ESmotors

Thanks for your comments. I will try to answer some of your questions.

First of all, this is on 91 octane + meth/water injection.
The tiptronic shifts around 7200 rpm.
The fuel system is currently stock but the upgraded injectors, but we're about to be done working on a new fuel system for higher boost applications. Will do the install this week.
The turbos are HTA 3586, but will switch to GTX3582 and I'm expecting more power all through the powerband.

Hope to share better results in the next few days,

Cheers,

Salih

You plan on putting it on the dyno?
And no VP fuels or ELF? Got to be some high octane fuels there
