looking at a couple of different Porsche's and wanted to see what you guys thought of the figures from 3 different sites.
Car #1 2010 Porsche Turbo Cab w/ 7500 miles
Car #2 2012 POrsche Turbo S w/ 7500 miles
nada=$115,175/$142,625
kbb=$116,498/$134 (2011 model/no pricing for 2012)
manheim=$120,000/$135-140,000 (not many 12 Turbo S sold)
Based on those figures the APPROX... average is about:
Car#1=$117,000
Car#2=$137,000
So what do you think? If both cars have decent options and I could get either one for the above pricing which one would you get? I know theres a lot more needed to know to make a decision but based only on the info. I gave would you take car # 1 or 2

I have had 2 other 997.1 TT's coupes in the past and wanted something different so a CAB was my first choice. The Cab is also in the color that I want but the S has my second choice in color and also has a lot more options that I like/love. Decisions, decisions...
When looking at dollar vs dollar the S seems to be the economical choice and is also local and one owner where as the Cab was 2 owners and on the other side of the country...
The CAB msrp is mid $160, the S mid $180's

Since you are asking only for opinions ... I have one !
I have had a 968 Cab, 911 Cab, Boxster Cab, Audi A4 Cab, and various hard tops. I think my days of wind blowing in my hair have gone with my hair, and I don't see getting either back. I prefer the tight enclosure, sound of the turbos spooling in the back seat, tunes when I want them, and to take a call (hands free) if someone dares disrupt my time in my precious. 50% of the above had leaks or mechanical issues at some point in their lives. YMMV.

Both are very new and are going to get creamed when the 991 TT is revealed and then hits the road. I would view it this way, the 2010 is more of a "normal" used car, probably about 3 years old. The 2012 is a new car flip from an owner that got bored. I would think the 2010 probably has a bit of room in the price. The 2012 looks like a very good deal actually, but there may be a reason for that. I would take the 2010, because while the S adds exclusivity and a bit of HP, the performance improvement is really marginal. At 0-60 in 3 seconds we are really hitting a wall. We have come a long way from when 0-60 in 6 seconds was amazing. Now, regardless of if you have 500 hp or 1000 hp, you aren't doing much to the 3 second barrier. More hp and more money has greatly diminishing returns. (I know this will start a lot of 60-130 rolling debate, but that potential just has a lot of limitations in regular use.)

So the exact difference in price between the 2 cars is $10k but after consider shipping and being able to actually see the car in person it's only about $5-7k. Seems like a no brainier now but still waiting to finalize everything on the S.
Kind of OT: but what do you guys think a killer price on the S would be? $130=killer deal, $135=fair, $140=dealer and anything above seller is nuts???
