FYI...that car has our 65mm VTG package, running just about 600 hp at the wheels. It's a 6-speed car. It was the owners first time ever at the 1/4 mile...I think he did OK.

 

Yes, if he can lower his 60fts, he has low 11s easy!

 

I think he told me his 60' was like 2.20 or something like that....I guess that's typical for someone's first trip to the 1/4. He also said he launched at around 2500-3000 rpm's...which is too low. But it's his daily driver street car, so I think he was just trying to preserve the clutch lol.

Well, if he drops his 60ft down even to just 1.8 then he is about 10.80s. For every 10th saved in the 60ft, you drop about 2/10th in the 1/4 mile. He has the mph for it!

He wants to hold about 4500 rpms and knee jerk release on the clutch and let her ride! He also needs a Sachs 2.5 or similar to handle the power!

Im going 11/17 for a few daytime runs to get some baseline times in this car.

Yeah...I told him about 4500 was the magic number, but I'm not sure if he's going to go back and try it again. He has the Sachs in there, but he's still a little nervous...lol.
