Need experience, A3071 vs A3076's spool

The "mushrooms" will be on a new Ypipe (my actual Proto Ypipe will be for sale) with no airbox, first I wanted to bolt Evoms inlet pipes and keep my airbox, but it makes the engine less responsive than fenderwell and the diameter at the turbo does not fit the Alphas.

Thxs Asher!

I wonder how much less responsive the engine would be
I think the EVT850 uses, or the 1st one used, the EVOMS inlet pipes and stock airbox

Honestly, its about the same amount of work to just put on a non alpah 3076 on the 997 and you have more options with turbo configuration.
The chra can be modified to bolt to the oil tanks, and all the oil/water line connections need to be fabricated in the same way (alpha vs non alpha). The exhaust doesn't bolt up like on the 996tt, so its the same amount of work (or less) to fabricate an exhaust for the non alpha 3076's.
Really the only benefit we see around here to the alpha's are they allow you to do is bolt the turbo's to the factory headers, but for the price difference between alpha's vs a standard 3076 will almost buy you a nice set of headers!
I set we recently built for a car we're putting together here at the moment.

Can you pm me a price on these headers, for a 996TT fitment? Thx.

I still don't know the difference in the real life between 3071s and 3076s.
All I can say now (engine rebuilt, 3,8l, E85, cams, 1680ccs, etc...) is I'm totally glad with my turbos, the car is a blast from 3500 to 7000.
Average 60-130 is 5' @1,5Bar (67%IDC) and impossible to raise the boost above until I bolt a stronger clutch! (Actually the strongest Sachs sold by FVD)
Anyway actual cold (dry) roads do not allow to WOT until the 5th gear without lighting the PSM.

I've used both Alpha3076 and regular T3 HTA3071, i think both are about the same actually. Currently I am using the HTA3071s and they spool very fast.
