New Wheels
#19
guys at Sonic Motorsports in mountain view CA did an awesome job installing my GMG springs and BC racing wheels today.
here are some quick and dirty iphone pics:
(note the GMG springs were just installed so they have yet to settle)
need to get some black lug nut covers asap
after the springs settle I'll take some better pics in the sunlight

Art we need more pics!
Side rear 3/4 view???? In the sun?
Excellent I love the look.
What are the offsets? Fronts are good, rears seem that they could have done with another 5mm?
Tempting...
Porsche center caps? Do they fit?

aa909,
Instead of getting those cheesy plastic caps for the lugbolts, just get some black one. H&R offer Porsche-specific bolts in a black finish. (Or, if you don't want to buy new ones, just have the current ones painted - it won't be the most durable, but how often are you removing them anyway?)

The wheels are 2-piece, stock size with more aggressive offset:
Fronts: 19x8.5 et 45
Rears: 19x11 et 40
The rears have the deep concave design so they look more "sunk in" than the fronts which are only very slightly concave. So you are correct I think the rears could probably handle a 35 offset.
Not sure about the center caps, I will have to check but getting them painted black to match would be a biiiiiiiitch
After I get the new carbon fiber diffuser painted and installed next week I will take the car out for some better pictures in the sun
stay tuned

Nick just for you, some more pics in the sun!
springs settled nicely after the 50 mile drive home in 2.5 hours of stop go traffic through south san francisco (argghh!!). and I also noticed that with the more open wheel design the brake dust is awful. the stock wheels keep the brake dust on the inside of the spokes.
