Plus it has a margin of safety with the Auto. I'm sure my eight year old could drive it. Put it in D, go.

The red is too much for sure. I need mellow colors.
You mean you're not even going to test drive a 6 speed and evaluate it for yourself? Spending this much money, you should just do it even if out of curiosity...... you never know??

We haven't been using any upgraded LSD on our cars but,

I will be able to offer LSD for TIP cars very soon

I think it will be VERY nice combination with a built TIP.

Regards,
Emre

2010 for the 997 Turbos, but keep in mind it's a completely different gearbox, not just a rename. I believe that 2009 might have been the start of PDK availability for the non Turbo models, but don't quote me on that part.

2010 was the first year for the 997 Turbo cars to have the PDK. The Tiptronic is a fluid operated hydraulic transmission, it is a true automatic. The TIP also has a torque converter.

After driving a 6speed I did the same thing as you man. Best decision I made. I'll get more negative rep for this but I dont need to phallus measure having a stick that moves around in the center console. I can drive a manual pretty well but this car is built for the daily drive. Thats why porsche made the tip IMHO better and faster.
Wanna racecar? grab a GT3 or 2, wanna jack of all master of most that you can enjoy every day? TT for you.

I have NEVER once said gosh darn it I wish I had a 6 Speed in here. In my last BMW M's I said I wished I had an auto a lot. The tip still shifts faster than a human anyways.

I dont see this as an issue unless you are hammering the car in the corners and you shouldnt be on public roads anyways. A few sets of tires later and you will keep it at a more reasonable rate in the corners.

As to tracks, you have to ask, do I want a fun track car or a true track car that I probably wont like much daily driving?
Its like anything there are trade offs and believe me, if you are at the level in racing you are squeezing for Enths, you won't be worrying about the dif, you will be worrying about which F1, ALMS, Cup girl to bring home.
