ZunSport Satin Black Mesh Grills 997.1TT
#46
I would take the two on the vents off, and leave the bottom one on. If it looks odd with the bottom one still on after you install the center grill, you will be able to remove the stripes without removing the grills.
Should look pretty sweet once completed/installed!

Really depends on your accent colors if they are more silver or black on your car. I saw a silver set on a Blue RS with silver dive planes, strips/graphics, mirrors, and wing uprights. It looked really good on that vehicle. Also, the car did not have a window tint. It all worked really well together. However, I think if you have black trim bits and tinted glass, the silver grills would be visually over powering.

Done!
Really a 5 minute job, but comes with a bit of back ache. Got my car on the top of my garage ramp to try to lift the nose off the ground, as it does take some weird angles so as to see what you are doing!
No comments on the front spoiler please! LOL. A great thanks to VID997 for the post, as well as the discount code. I can extend the same to any member that is interested in getting them. And for the record, they do want us to spread the discount around, no one is cheating.

Dianic,
Looking good! Did you fix your Martini stripes as well. I recall you mentioning something was a bit off on the lower part.?.
Tumbleweed tested at 85+ mph last Monday on HWY 5....radiators are clean and spotless! The tumbleweed was about half the size of my car and there was a semi to my right...no where to go but forward. Haven't washed the car yet...hopefully it didn't get too scratched up.

Laser shifter
I have the laser interceptor setup and the following quote is from their website:
RULE #1 when installing any LCM, "Stealth The Car, NOT the Install!" NEVER install sensors behind anything, including mesh grills. They must be completely unobstructed to function properly. If you cannot touch your sensors to clean them with a cloth and soapy water, they are NOT properly installed!
"There must not be any obstacles in front of the lenses otherwise the device will not work optimally."
So the grills might cause a problem. On my car I cut holes in the grill, placed the sensors through the holes then attached them to the grill.
