Do a PPI and that will answer most of your anxiety and make a sound judgement before scoring it.

3 years in a 997 Turbo for 30k? thats lot cheaper than it cost those who bought it new! If you look at the common mechanical failures on the 997T and the mileage at which occured, its all way before 50k shows up, nevermind 70k. Cam issues, clutch issues, coolant hose issues...I think the odds are in his favor especially if some of those issues have been addressed already. I think its worth rolling the dice.

Now on saying that maybe 54k is high, shoot for 50k. Its an amazing amount of car for the money at that level regardless.

The car in question is in the classifieds. I really like the exterior color (Carmon Red Metallic) and would've purchased it pending PPI but at the end couldn't get past the Sand Beige interior. I even went to a dealership in NJ that has the exact same color combo car to check it out. Too bright on the inside for my tastes.

Yeah, it seemse like a really good deal. I just can't get past the exterior color (actually like the inside).
