I'll be sticking with my 997.1 6sp, thank you.

This just does not do it for me. The quad ebay exhaust is horrid, and the proportions just look off.

I just put down a deposit for a TT-S

The front bumper leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like the regular 991 bumper to me with a different lip. The GT3 front bumper is a lot better looking. I wonder if this is really the final rendition of the front bumper considering how good the GT3 looked.

I agree with you that the rear bumper is a little awkward. It looks like the Rinspeed 997.2 rear bumper as seen here:

The tips are reminiscent of the Mercedes-AMG tips on the E63 and CLS63

Overall, I'd be jumping in because of the better electronics, handling, and power delivery of the 991, not for the style. I'd save up for a GT2 kit instead.

991 TTS? They're taking deposits on a car that's at least 3 years (maybe more if the 996 TTS and 997 TTS are examples of timing) away?

Huh... yeah, not as cool as the GT3.. I'll wait until the final reveal happens.

Now, imagine if Nissan offered the next GT-R with a 6spd manual!

Rumors are that the TT-S is going to be released at the same time as the TT this time.

HA!! Those Ebay tips are going to sell like crazy now

I have to agree though...based on these pics, it doesn't look any nicer than the 997 and most casual observers probably cannot tell the difference....guess thats good and bad.

I hate the 991
It's huge, too soft, pdk is weak sauce and looks like a cayman from the front.

This may be the first new turbo released in my lifetime that I have zero interest in buying.

Back in a manual and couldn't be happier.

If true it is a real shame, the turbo should be available in manual.
I did not think Porsche would do this, apparently I was wrong
Same here... PDK is only for the race track... Manual is for daily fun.

I think you guys are jumping the gun here. This is obviously a test bed type car. There is no way Porsche would do this to the 911 and especially the turbo. Everything looks slapped together.

Just took the turbo cab out for the first drive of the year. They can keep their automatic trans, the manual trans made the car seem like magic today!

Agree. The 991 GT3 made me go wow! If this is the new Turbo, looks a little "weak". Hope they do more to it to make it look more aggressive.
